The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor program is your final step
in the path to becomming a PADI Instructor - a qualification that
sets you apart from the crowd.
Throughout the course you will apply your diving knowledge and skills
while learning to use the PADI System of Diver Education both in
the classroom and in the water.
Once certified, PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors may conduct a
broad range of PADI programs from Discover Scuba Diving to Divemaster
All divers wishing to take part in the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
program must meet the following prerequisites:
PADI Assistant Instructor certification.
Hold dive certification for at least 6 months.
Have a minimum of 60 logged dives including night, deep and navigation.
Have proof of CPR training within the last 24 months.
Have medical clearance signed by a physician.
